Start Right Blog

Hello,
It’s been a while. I would just like to give a big WELCOME to all our new Start Right children. This is now our 6th year of running the group. Also a big GOOD LUCK to those that have left us for the nursery.
As yet I have not been able to take any photos of the new group, but hopefully that will change shortly. The children settled well with mums and nans to the activities laid out, and hopefully will continue in the same way.

Hello,
This term we have been focusing on the theme of ‘People who help us’ and now we are coming to an end. Next week will be the topic of Easter for one session, we will be making Easter baskets and cards. After the Easter break the theme will be Transport. If any one has a large empty box to make a train with I would be greatful if you could drop it off at school. Thanks.

Welcome back! Today was our first session of the new year. Everyone had a great time. We sadly had to say goodbye to James and Matthew but,I am glad to say they will be now attending our nursery. We also said hello and a big welcome to two new children, Joe and Toby.

The theme is now parties. This week’s topic was parcels, next week it will be biscuits. We plan to decorate a biscuit and then eat it at our juice time. Yum! Yum!

If any one has any jigsaw puzzles suitable for 2-3 year olds that they no longer have a need for, I would be grateful if you could donate them to our Start Right group. Thank you very much.

The time goes so fast on a Tuesday morning, but we manage to do lots of nice things.

                                     

So far nobody has guessed the name of my bear.

North Pole Bear, thats a good name but not the right one, keep trying.

There may be a prize for the winner.

If no one guesses right I get the Prize. He! He!

Start Right families, don’t forget your teddy on Tuesday, We are having a Teddy Bears picnic.

We have had a great start to this years Start Right group. Everyone has had a good time playing. We have been discovering lots of things about bears this term, and we are going to have a Teddy Bears picnic soon. I hope Goldilocks doesn’t come!

 Hopefully we will have some photos to share with you on our page soon. Put on your best smile for the camera!
